Why book a prenatal consultation ?
Being pregnant is a beautiful journey full of physical and emotional changes, and the right support can make a world of difference. At Wheel of Care in Brussels, we offer more than just medical care – we create a space where you feel heard, supported, and well-prepared for the arrival of your baby.
The importance of prenatal care with a midwife
Antenatal consultations are essential for both your health and that of your baby. Regular follow-ups enable us to monitor your pregnancy, provide tailored advice, and address any concerns early on. But it goes beyond medical care: these consultations offer the opportunity to build a trusting relationship with your midwife. This bond helps you feel more confident and supported, making the transition to motherhood easier.
How does the prenatal consultation look like?
At Wheel of Care, we do everything we can to ensure that you feel completely cared for:
- Get to know us and discover our service: You will meet one of our midwives who explains how we work.
- Medical follow-up of the pregnancy: it can be done in parallel with the follow-up in the hospital or by another healthcare provider or entirely by us (in exception of the scans)
- Extra time for your questions: We understand that every pregnancy is unique. That’s why we take extra time during each consultation to answer your questions and discuss your concerns. No question is too small or unimportant. (60min)
- A holistic approach: We focus not only on your physical health but also on your emotional, social and mental well-being, for complete care.
- Organisation of postnatal follow-up: understand the postnatal care with a midwife, open a file, answer your administrative and logistical questions.
Our prenatal consultations are also a good time to plan your postpartum as good as possible.
Invest in your well-being and that of your baby by booking a prenatal consultation with our experienced midwives. Together, we will prepare you for a healthy, strong, and joyful pregnancy.
Book your consultation today and take the first step towards a caring and supportive experience at Wheel of Care.
