TEAM MIDWIVES

LOUISE PONCE
My name is Louise, a nurse , midwife, female health expert and symptothermic method coach. Since I was 19, I have been supporting women and families, with experience in various countries such as Senegal, Finland, Luxembourg, Morroco, Rwanda, and Canada. The international contexts have deepened my vision of care: care that starts from autonomy, trust, and conscious choices, with attention to both physical and mental and emotional health.
After my graduation, I worked in a hospital, after which I quickly joined Wheel of Care as a self-employed midwife in 2020. I also obtained the Advanced Clinical Practice certificate, and Fertility Awarness method certified trainership, which enhances and broadens the content of my guidance.
I guide women and couples as a Sensiplan trainer in natural fertility management using the sympto-thermal method, both at Wheel of Care and online. This way of working closely aligns with my feminist and holistic vision of body awareness and informed care.
Within Wheel of Care, I am taking on the team managment and perinatal projects coordination with great commitment. In that role, I ensure quality, collaboration, and a sustainability — providing a joyful qualitative and safe environment for both families and care providers.
My offer: Sensiplan coaching (symptothermia) and holistic women's health guidance.

AYLA DAVER
Hello, I am Ayla and I am a newly qualified midwife. Since October 2024, I have been part of the wonderful team at Wheel of Care. It is a great honour for me to be able to work with this amazing team in primary care in Brussels.
Before I started working at WOC, I completed an internship in Kuopio (Finland), among other places. Here, I lost my heart, and this was partly due to the midwife-led care that prevails there (in other words, the midwives are in charge). By being able to immerse myself in this, my self-confidence and independence received a significant boost.
Midwifery is more than just a profession for me. It is my passion and my life. In my eyes, midwifery is about more than just giving birth. It is about empowerment and enabling women and their families to harness their own strength. I see it as my duty as a midwife to understand when words fall short. It is my role to support and to let go at the right moment. As a midwife, it is important to have enough courage to allow oneself to be touched.
I am an empathetic midwife who places the whole family at the centre and would love to support you in the intimate and tender atmosphere of the birth of your child(ren). I would feel privileged to earn your trust and to be part of your own, unique story.
My services : pre and postnatal follow-ups.

CHIARA BARTOLUCCI
Hello, I am Chiara, a dedicated Italian midwife with a diverse background and many passions ranging from dancing and climbing to hiking, running, cycling, and cultural events. I am open to everything!
After years of working in various fields, my values, feminism, and spirituality have ultimately led me to choose the profession of midwifery. It feels like my calling.
I am dedicated to the reproductive and sexual health of women and consider it my mission to enhance the health knowledge of women and communities. That is why I feel so at home at Wheel of Care: my dream team!
In addition to my work as a midwife, I also enjoy teaching pre- and postnatal yoga. Through meditation, relaxation, and breathing techniques, I help find a balance between emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health. These techniques can make childbirth and recovery much easier.
My work is nourished by the women and families who give me the privilege of being part of such an intimate moment in their lives. I also draw a great deal of inspiration from the midwives who have gone before me and the science that strengthens the profession today. All of this motivates me to continually grow and provide the best possible care.
My services : pre and post natal follow ups and breastpump consultations
Bij Wheel of care kan je bij mij terecht voor pre- en postnatale zorg en voor kolf consultatie, advies en borstkolf proberen.

LORE TIELEMANS
I am Lore, an enthusiastic psychologist and midwife.
Since September 2025, I have been part of the wonderful team at Wheel of Care and I am so happy to be here.
Before I started working as a midwife, I worked for 7 years as a psychologist in a rehabilitation hospital on the children's ward. Here, I supported children and their families during their rehabilitation process. I learned a great deal here and always did this with a warm heart.
Yet I decided to pursue my other dream of becoming a midwife through a distance learning programme. During my various placements, I began to develop more and more as a midwife, and my values became even more apparent. I want to be an autonomous midwife with plenty of time, patience, and calm. Supporting parents with sufficient restraint and empowering them is my mission. All of this is important for a holistic approach.
The combination of psychology and midwifery is one that I am still very happy with and will certainly come in handy in the future.
The philosophy of "Wheel of care" fits me very well as a person. Brussels, midwifery, and cycling are three things that largely describe me. Add friends, family, and culture to that, and you have me completely described.
I have lived in Brussels for 7 years and I embrace the city with a lot of love.
At Wheel of Care, you can come to me for psychological support and for pre- and postnatal care, and I will happily visit you at home during the first few days after the birth of your "little one".
I also work at PLEK.
Tot ziens!

CHARLOTTE REUL
I am Charlotte and I have been working as a midwife since June 2025.
Before I pursued this profession, I studied philosophy and naturopathy. These studies have nourished my thinking about health, care, and emancipation, and have led me to become a midwife.
During an Erasmus in Quebec, I discovered the autonomous practice of midwives in a birthing house. There, I became acquainted with a holistic and continuous care model, fully tailored to the individual. I brought back seeds from there that I want to let grow further here.
In my work, I place great value on informed consent, shared decision-making, and empowering women and families.
It is with great pride that I join the Wheel of Care team to support you as a midwife in your unique experience of parenthood.
I offer prenatal and postnatal consultations, birth preparation, and aftercare in the event of pregnancy loss. Additionally, you can also come to me for naturopathic consultations.

LOUISE GAUTIER
Hi! I am Louise, a midwife and a passionate cyclist in all weather!
After several years behind a computer screen in the NGO sector, I took the leap into the wonderful world of midwifery. A conscious choice, driven by my desire to be closer to people and to provide care at moments that truly matter. With a lot of energy and dedication, I embarked on this new path.
My first experience was on the maternity ward of a large Brussels hospital, where I built a solid clinical foundation. However, I soon felt the need for more closeness, autonomy, and continuity in care, which led me to start working as an independent midwife.
Today, I am particularly proud to be part of the inspiring team of midwives at Wheel of Care. Additionally, I am currently undertaking further training with our colleagues at Zwanger in Brussels, with the aim of being able to assist with home births in the near future: a form of care that perfectly aligns with my vision of warm, respectful, and personalised maternity care.
I support you and your family with great care and attention in the early stages of parenthood. You can come to me for prenatal and postnatal follow-up, and I do everything I can to answer your questions, doubts, and needs as well as possible during this intense and special period.
