Our care

Our midwives enjoy taking the time to help you throughout the birth process.

In addition to our professional support, we distinguish ourselves by the particular importance we give to offering you environmentally friendly alternatives all through the perinatal period.

Don't hesitate to ask our midwives for advice!

Our assistance starts at the beginning of your pregnancy for the future mother, her partner or loved ones for the future conscious single mother. During the first consultation, we will open your file and explain our way of working. You will have time to ask all your questions, we will carry out a medical examination (including a blood test if necessary) and you will receive a Kind & Gezin pregnancy logbook.

The frequency of prenatal consultations ranges from once a month during the first months to once a week during the last weeks of your pregnancy.

After delivery, our midwives accompany you, your baby and your partner!

During a home visit, we pay close attention to the following elements: the medical follow-up of the mother (post-partum physical and mental recovery process) and the baby (Guthrie test, weighing of the baby), support and monitoring of the start of breastfeeding, etc.

All the Wheel of Care midwives follow the guidelines of "Good Practice", which enables us to guarantee quality care.

Medical fees

Everyone deserves the best care. To make our services accessible to everyone, we work with the third-party payment (*) and all our midwives are registered. This means that we arrange payments directly with your health insurance company. At your first appointment, we will ask you to prepare :
Identity card
A health insurance sticker (“vignette”)
You are welcome if you are linked to an organisation such as the CPAS, Fedasil, the Red Cross, Médecins du Monde, ...
(*) The third‑party payment means that you only have to pay the care provider your share of the costs, while the health insurance will pay the rest of the amount directly to the care provider.
