 – A Gentle Self-Help Workshop Whoever feels called to this workshop is w

ally designed for women in a hospital for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr
. Liu Ya Fei introduced this practice to the West and continues to conduct
scientific research into its beneficial effects on female health and horm

sible to all. You will also receive a handout of the self-massage techniqu
es to take home\, as a reminder for those who wish to continue practicing
independently.During this Qi Gong for Women session We begin together in a
circle\, taking a gentle moment to connect with one another. We briefly r
eflect on the menstrual cycle and how Chinese Medicine understands certain
symptoms. We then move into a more active phase with Qi Gong movements th
at stimulate the flow of energy (Qi) and prepare the body to receive the s
elf-massages. The second part focuses on self-massage of the chest and abd
