A Gentle Self-Help Workshop Whoever feels called to this workshop is warml

to relax\, while also teaching a gentle self-help technique using movemen
ts and exercises to balance the body\, mind\, female hormones\, and menstr
ual cycle. Qi Gong for Women\, also known as Nu Zi Gong\, was specifically
designed for women in a hospital for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Li
u Ya Fei introduced this practice to the West and continues to conduct sci
entific research into its beneficial effects on female health and hormonal
balance. The movements and self-massages help bring the female organs and
hormones into balance. Particular attention is given to mental and emotio

or to support existing imbalances in the body\, such as: fertility challe
nges irregular or painful menstrual cycles hormonal imbalances menopausal
symptoms postpartum recovery The movements are easy to learn and accessibl
e to all. You will also receive a handout of the self-massage techniques t
o take home\, as a reminder for those who wish to continue practicing inde
pendently.During this Qi Gong for Women session We begin together in a cir
cle\, taking a gentle moment to connect with one another. We briefly refle
ct on the menstrual cycle and how Chinese Medicine understands certain sym
ptoms. We then move into a more active phase with Qi Gong movements that s
timulate the flow of energy (Qi) and prepare the body to receive the self-
massages. The second part focuses on self-massage of the chest and abdomin
al area — key techniques which\, with regular practice\, may help allevi
ate or even resolve certain complaints. We close the session with a short
 guided meditation to [...]
