DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://www.wheelofcare.be/event/qi-gong-for-women-nu-
zi-gong-278">QI GONG FOR WOMEN (Nu Zi Gong) </a>\nWhoever feels called for
this workshop\, you are warmly welcome! This two hour session is meanth t
o relax\, but also to learn this self-help technique with movements and ex
ercices to balance the body\, the mind\, female hormones and the menstrual
cycle. Qi Gong for Women\, or Nu Zi Gong\, was specifically designed for
women\, in a hospital for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Liu Ya Fei als
o introduced this practice to the West and continues to conduct scientific
research into its beneficial effects. The movements and self-massages hel
p to bring the female hormones and organs into balance. In addition\, part
icular attention is given to promoting mental well-being by releasing emot
ions that may be held around the abdominal and chest area. It can be pract
iced preventively\, or to support existing imbalances in the body — such
as fertility issues\, irregular cycles\, menstrual pain\, hormonal imbala
nce\, menopausal symptoms\, or to recover more quickly in the postpartum p
hase. The movements are easy to learn\, and I also provide a handout of th
e self-massages to take home\, as a reminder for those who wish to continu
e practicing on their own. During this session: We begin together in a cir
cle\, taking a gentle moment to connect with one another. We briefly refle
ct on the menstrual cycle and how Chinese Medicine views certain symptoms.
We then move into the more active part\, with typical Qi Gong movements t
hat stimulate the flow of energy in the body and prepare us to better rece
ive the self-massages. The second part focuses on self-massage of the ches
t and abdominal area. These are the key techniques\, and with regular prac
tice\, they can help to alleviate or even heal certain complaints. We clos
e with a short guided meditation. Prijs: €28 Language: English (or Frenc
