zi-gong-278/register">QI GONG FOR WOMEN (Nu Zi Gong) </a>\nWhoever feels c
alled for this workshop\, you are warmly welcome! This two hour session is
meanth to relax\, but also to learn this self-help technique with movemen
ts and exercices to balance the body\, the mind\, female hormones and the
menstrual cycle. Qi Gong for Women\, or Nu Zi Gong\, was specifically desi
gned for women\, in a hospital for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Liu Y
a Fei also introduced this practice to the West and continues to conduct s
cientific research into its beneficial effects. The movements and self-mas
sages help to bring the female hormones and organs into balance. In additi
on\, particular attention is given to promoting mental well-being by relea
sing emotions that may be held around the abdominal and chest area. It can
be practiced preventively\, or to support existing imbalances in the body
  — such as fertility issues\, irregular cycles\, menstrual pain\, hormon
al imbalance\, menopausal symptoms\, or to recover more quickly in the pos
tpartum phase. The movements are easy to learn\, and I also provide a hand
out of the self-massages to take home\, as a reminder for those who wish t
o continue practicing on their own. During this session: We begin together
in a circle\, taking a gentle moment to connect with one another. We brie
fly reflect on the menstrual cycle and how Chinese Medicine views certain
symptoms. We then move into the more active part\, with typical Qi Gong mo
vements that stimulate the flow of energy in the body and prepare us to be
tter receive the self-massages. The second part focuses on self-massage of
the chest and abdominal area. These are the key techniques\, and with reg
ular practice\, they can help to alleviate or even heal certain complaints
. We close with a short guided meditation. Prijs: €28 Language: English
