DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://www.wheelofcare.be/event/qi-gong-for-women-nu-
zi-gong-278">QI GONG FOR WOMEN (Nu Zi Gong) </a>\nWhoever feels called for
this workshop\, you are warmly welcome! This two hour session is meanth t
o relax\, but also to learn this self-help technique with movements and ex
ercices to balance the body\, the mind\, female hormones and the menstrual
cycle. Qi Gong for Women\, or Nu Zi Gong\, was specially developed for wo
men\, in a hospital for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beidaihe\, China.
Dr. Liu Ya Fei also introduced this practice to the West and continues to
conduct scientific research into its beneficial effects. The movements and
self-massages help bring the female hormones and organs into balance. In
addition\, particular attention is given to promoting mental well-being by
releasing emotions that may be held around the abdominal and chest area.
It can be practiced preventively\, or to support existing imbalances in th
 e body — such as fertility issues\, irregular cycles\, menstrual pain\,
hormonal imbalance\, menopausal symptoms\, or to recover more quickly in t
he postpartum phase. The movements are easy to learn\, and I also provide
a handout of the self-massages to take home\, as a reminder for those who
wish to continue practicing on their own. During this session: We begin to
gether in a circle\, taking a gentle moment to connect with one another. W
e briefly reflect on the menstrual cycle and how Chinese Medicine views ce
rtain symptoms. We then move into the more active part\, with typical Qi G
ong movements that stimulate the flow of energy in the body and prepare us
to better receive the self-massages. The second part focuses on self-mass
age of the chest and abdominal area. These are the key techniques\, and wi
th regular practice\, they can help to alleviate or even heal certain comp
laints. We close with a short guided meditation. Price: €28 Language: En
